How you get service installed and access it. The guideways are miniature, vehicles powerful.

Getting service to your property requires requesting it by a adjacent property owner petition, or a vote of local government leaders, or finding a financial investor, or just buying the installation.  Most guideway grids will be public service self debt returning.  Some will be municipal, state and privatly owned public service systems as most railroads are.

The decentralized guideway management system uses GIS and area demographic data to computer program price out and design for the service area request.  GIS and satellite photo data with property line overlay data is automaticly drawn on to make presented preliminary plans that are computer created by the self owned guideway server for a debt retired global global access guideway program. 

At first humans will be guiding and solving problems in program and installation and operation development, working towards eventual self sustaining nearly free computer management.  This is not AI management as the program is merely responding to designing around the locations of existing streets, structures and utilities considering soil and rock attachment types, tree height and overhang and power line heights and frequency and then presenting rough cost estimates and design forms for approval by individual property owners for every city block or rural mile and using local population and commercial activity data to give long user trip unit cost per mile and debt retirement cost per mile estimates.

The requesting user groups then have to decide whether they want the service and whether this will be funded incrementally or all at once by taxes, outside capital sources or local user fees or combinations, towards various stages of user service cost lowering in decided debt retirement.

After about a decade of global introduction, most of the vehicles will arrive on local grids with most of their debt retired.  User groups could select whether they want newer or older vehicles for which they will be responsible for remaining debt or maintenance charges amortized into their per mile use chargesz  use rates are automatically adjusted to pay off power costs and accumulated debts plus profits to make rich people richer or invested in extending or improving service.

Like poorer people buying used cars and wealthier people wanting brand new cars the mostly never been smoked in vehicles never having carried live stock vehicles will be handed down to poorer regions by their choice or placed permantly in sewage, dirt or rubble hauling or recycle services.  All vehicles should be equipped to haul water for all uses as this will be the most used item after people and home goods movements.

A average 150 pound person will at first accompany the average 10 pounds of purchases taking up on average about 3/4ths of a vehicle world wide trips decreasing with more user store buying through local home deliveries.  Over time more factory direct rout vehicles will deliver goods world wide bypassing the exporter agents, wholesale retail local store overhead costs.  A billion people will lose their jobs over several decades but reduce their average cost of living by two thirds or more and increase their nearly free daily mobility range by tens of times for more jobs and all services access.

Once installed every user can call up constantly area returning or placed and waiting empty vehicles.  These can usually take two people or a large sofa or home refrigerator or the equivalent volume in goods or one to three tons of commodities, machinery or goods or furniture to any place locally or on the planet without a transfer.

The users calls for service with their cell phone or computer through a extremely EMP and lightning hard guideway cell phone network.  RF interference issues will be similar to existing systems but magnetic and RF health problems are nearly non existent than those for maglev vehicles.

The request for service might be in the form of a four digit number typed in on you phone and you press send.  An additional two digits specifies types of service requested beyond single user or group user goods or persons encoded in the last single digit.  All the vehicles can handle nearly all types of uses so rarely would a special vehicle be required.

The guideway vehicle then can exchange on going transmission contact with the users cell phone to locate the calling user in a packed standing crowd and come as close as the clear lowering access area is seen by the onboard controlling computer.  The vehicle can not descend on unmoving protrusions above a loading height on the ground.  As the vehicle depends on recognized people below to descend to just over their heads, either move out of the way, as is a natural curtesy or sense of self preservation or refusing to move, the vehicle then has to move to the nearest open spot.  An outside visual announcer display on the door side shows the calling users telephone number or name to prevent some one else trying to use the vehicle on door opening.

Door opening clearances are sensor controled progressive to prevent near by moving objects and people from being struck.  Bifold and verticle fold door designs have been considered using all door parimiter latch sealing making a closed door one structural piece with the hull.

Problems with opening the full latch system after severe damage have been considered as there is not going to be another safety exit.  This is a all new

operating idea.  All railway and roadways are unsafe by their nature so require different design and operating rules.

The railway and road vehicle decision makers have so far killed about 75 million humans, destroyed ecology and impoverished large populations compared to guideway use and are hazards to sustainable life on Earth.  The old rules are obsoleat.

Once inside the user or load item needs a payment form or payment reauthorization similar to forwarding call charges with phones or COD type deliveries.

Every seat separately has a full banking service ATM built into the armrest and a communications pad and small key board on top.  A all purpose front Bill slot with a slightly extending tray for coins is in front of the approximately 4 inch wide by three inch high by 14 inch long full banking service mobile ATM.  It is assumed a global currency will replace obsolete national currencies just as global government will replace local to national ones.  Controllable inflation hardness arm rest cushions are just behind the ATM user keyboard top.

This full guideway non profit banking service ATM contains smaller amounts of cash for dispensing and change about $500 between dumping at fully automated depositories the vehicle goes to.  National and regional currencies could be carried or a global guideway new reserve currency eventually used.  Many layers of the toughest you have ever seen hardening are proposed for this tiny ultra low cost replacement for all global banking.

Investor trading could also be done from this internally secure platform while a person is traveling in the privacy of the vehicle.  New trading systems designs are proposed to prevent market manipulation.  On board one or both of the large cooled side window screens folds out in front of the passenger to allow full internet services access just as you have on your smart phone.  With a large display in front of you, you could also access common free or paid service entertainment channels or pay per view in route.  Movie theaters cost between about three to five cents a minute to use.  On the emerging longer commutes between jobs in distant cities this might become the main venue for many people to see currently created entertainment and information.  Get your education during daily trip times using the same system.

People might pay a nickel a minute or so for all vehicle waiting time based on the depreciation time to cost of the new vehicle replacement required considering lifetime fixed vehicle costs.

When in emergencies people might seek refuge in guideway vehicles that can then take them and their possessions or households of furniture to wherever shelter might be available for them using available land or sea habitats.  People who lose their jobs could often pack up and move to the far side of the world for under $100 to $300 with average loads of possessions in following vehicles.

All of these ideas were designed for 1950s to 2000s era technologies that I grew up learning about.  None of this is futurism speculation but real design applications.  Nobody has done any of this simply because nobody has thought to do or try to do any of this.  It is all much easier and cheaper than everything we do today once you get started doing it.
